I was not so recently involved in a car accident near the downtown Toronto area, and thought I might share the experience.
The damage the other vehicle received from our collision. Stop sign means you yield...
I was coming off the Don Valley Parkway at Bloor street (1997 Ford Escort LX), and rounding Castle Frank when a woman driving on an intersecting road (2006 Acura TSX) pops up in front of me, not giving me enough time to stop, causing a collision (T-Bone).
The woman who was driving the other vehicle, had started creeping through the first two lanes, because traffic had bottled up and allowed her room. However, instead of being careful and creeping into the third lane, or spotting incoming traffic, she tried zooming through, or assumed there were no vehicles coming, and made her attempt at a quick pass… fail.
On impact, her car kept traveling in the same direction, and while mine had come to a complete stop upon collision in my direction, I was dragged along a little bit in because the two cars were lodged together. The majority (if not all) of the damage that my car sustained was to the front grill. As soon as I turned the car off, and put a foot on the ground, I knew my car was done. A massive amount of engine coolant was all over the street, without even seconds to spare. Upon closer inspection, it seemed like the front foot or two of my car was completely destroyed.
The lululemon manifesto spread apart one of their retail bags
An interestingly covered water bottle caught my eye the other day, and I couldn’t help but be hypnotized by some of the quotes that were written on it. I knew I had seen them before… even the arrangement was familiar, and I quickly realized that the quotes were the same that cover every environmentally-friendly lululemon bag that you may opt to purchase right before leaving one of their retail stores. It turns out lululemon refers to this list of quotes as their “manifesto”.
I took the time to write them out… even though there are a couple fishy ones I don’t agree with.

Fun fact: Only 3% of people who apply to Apple actually get an interview. This was one of the first messages received during training (also known as ‘core’) before starting to work at Apple Retail Fairview Mall, here in Toronto. I was told that you’re more likely to get into Stanford University [...]
Needless to say, it didn’t take them very long; Luke Wilson jumps into a short 30 second skit showing USA why they might want to consider sticking, or signing up with AT&T.
It’s always entertaining to see two big rival corporations going at it, publicly. Recently, Verizon wireless released an ad that was allegedly misleading, and damaging to the image of the company. In a move that you don’t see very often, AT&T addressed the ad and shot down the credibility of their rival with facts, instead of the “smoke and mirrors” Verizon had to offer.
I don’t know if you’ve heard of Lonely Island, but here are two videos that they’ve made for popular late night television show Saturday Nigh Live. You really need to ask yourself how in gods name does anyone become so freaking hilarious:
